| Labour Lambeth have unveiled plans to spend more than £220k per year of council tax payers' cash on 'spin doctors' and support staff under proposals approved by their Leader. The unprecedented wage bill includes: - £42,000 on a chief Alastair Campbell-style 'spin doctor' - £99,000 on three deputies - £81,000 on a PA, caseworker and receptionist Cllr John Whelan, Lambeth's Conservative Leader, said: "This is an absolute massacre of the innocents - people are going to lose their jobs so Labour can put the snouts of their staff in the trough with inflated pay deals. |
